Track 2: Edge-Cloud Continuum and Networking
Track Description
As the name indicates, edge-cloud continuum refers to the integration and coordination of edge computing and cloud computing to enable seamless, efficient, and scalable distribution of computing and data processing resources from the cloud to the edge of the network. A remote healthcare monitoring system, for example, can process patient data locally at the edge, while maintaining patient privacy, and storing collected data and analytics in the cloud. This paradigm is becoming increasingly relevant as more and more devices and applications are generating massive amounts of data at the edge, which require real-time processing and analysis. The edge-cloud continuum allows for the efficient use of computing resources at the edge and in the cloud, enabling new applications and services that can benefit from the capabilities of both computing models. This conference track focuses on the integration of edge and cloud computing, as well as the application of novel edge computing paradigms to provide enhanced services and experiences.Topics of interest include
